Etched French Maran - Chicken Egg Pysanky

This unique chicken egg pysanky was decorated with a wax batik process. The egg is empty, so it is very light. The French Maran eggs have a beautiful deep brown shell which is preserved in the design. The egg is dipped in acid to reveal the subsequent lighter shades of brown. The design features two different styles of crosses. It comes with either an acrylic display stand or a hanger for putting on a tree or other hanging stand. You decide - no additional charge! The egg is about 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide (not including hanger).
