Colored Pencil and Ink - 10×8
This painting was inspired by a pysanky pattern in Ukrainian Gift Shop - Book #2. It features a tessellation of fish circling the center part of the canvas. This is one of the most challenging divsions I have ever done. However, I learned a lot from this technique and the pattern overall. It was fun to see the fish come to life - piece by piece.
