Cardinals are often viewed as bringing messages from loved ones who have passed one. As I created this painting I meditated on those in my life who have recently died. It was comforting to think of pleasant memories and happy times as this cardinal came to life.
The painting has a protective coating, but it is best displayed out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
